I also am not open to project ideas at the present time, because I’m already contractually engaged in writing the next book. But if you’d like to say hello, you can send me an email.
However, I can’t make it easy for you. I can’t (or I won’t) provide a simple mail-to link. Why? Because of the spammers. So, unfortunately, you have to solve a riddle to get my email address. Are you ready? Here it is:
My email address consists of my name (HINT: it’s at the top of this page) but with no space between “jeff” and “cox” just like in my website URL. In the middle is the keyboard symbol for “at.” This is followed by my name again spelled with no space, followed by dot com. So it’s my name at my name dot com.
You can also simply post a comment on any page in which the comment box is open. When you do that the blog software automatically sends me an email, which I have to approve before it gets posted. So you can use that method for any communication, and it actually works well, though not flawlessly, mainly due to the fact I get so much spam. Also, be aware that your browser’s cache may retain your comments and make it appear that they have been posted, when in fact this is not the case; your words will appear only in your browser, not on the published web page.
I do not respond to everyone, and I never respond to spammers or idiots, and sometimes things just slip through the cracks of a busy life. But I do respond to sincere inquiries and almost always to fans.
